if I die young…

life is fragile. treasure every moment.

this is going to be a morbid post. dont worry, I am not suicidal. keke.

if I die (eventually), please fill my wake with laughter. don’t be afraid to laugh.

laugh at my bimbotic moments. laugh at how I take life too seriously sometimes. laugh at our silly fights.

if we haven’t talked in awhile for whatever reason but we were close in the past, come by. laugh at the moments that have past.

leave a seat for me. I will be there listening and laughing at these stories together with you.

Don’t cry. if you must, laugh till tears come. then cry.

tell my parents about my silly moments if you can. make them laugh too.

my funeral will be a celebration, a gathering. a reminder of how I have made you laugh.

I once asked my ex why do people take pictures at funeral. he said, “it’s to remember how the deceased have made a difference in others life.”

so yes. laugh. dont cry.

[Music Monday] The Boys by Girls’ Generation

Because we all need a earworm to kickstart the week! Plus, Monday is the only day in the week that starts with M. I’ll try to post non-Kpop songs occasionally :P

Cant believe this song is from 3 years back!

But yes. It’s going to be stuck in my head for the next 8 weeks because…I am taking dance classes for it again! Yes, again! The last round (3 years back) I gave up after 2 lessons because my friend stopped going for classes and being young, I hated going for class alone.

So yes! Taking the class with Cyndy, my senior back in secondary school whom I havent seen in ages! Hopefully, I will learn the entire dance (: Well, I will. No intention of giving up. But yes. So many S-Line. My waist~ Haha!

ANYWAYS! One of my favorite songs from the girls (: The dance is awesome and the outfit ❤ Especially Yoona’s!

Here’s the video of my favorite performance. Yoong was wearing the awesome leather outfit!

And here’s the dance practice video that I have probably watched for a gazillion times since Friday…

And which I just spent 10 minutes practicing to while looking for it-.-

HAPPY MONDAY, EVERYONE!

[Music Monday] Someone to watch over me by Asher Book

Because we all need a earworm to kickstart the week! Plus, Monday is the only day in the week that starts with M. I’ll try to post non-Kpop songs occasionally :P

Over the weekend, Channel 5 showed one of my favorite movie, “Fame”. There’s so many good songs that I couldn’t decide which song to put here.

There’s the classic “Fame” song. Love the energy, love the beat, love the lyrics. Then there’s the graduation show, “Hold Your Dream” that holds much meaning(“…you’ll find strength when people bring you down..”). For the slow songs…”Try” by Asher Book. Awesome lyrics. “Out here on my own” is also awesome. It got me a little misty eye yesterday cos my life feels like it sometimes.

So eventually, I decided to introduce this other song by Asher Book. Coincidentally, this came up on my iPod touch early last week and I was playing it non-stop.

There’s a somebody I’m longing to see
I hope that he/she, turns out to be
Someone who’ll watch over me…

Won’t you tell him please to put on some speed
Follow my lead, oh, how I need
Someone to watch over me

And I really like the monologue about success. I think I blogged about it sometime ago. But here it is again –

There’s some things that success is not.
It’s not fame. It’s not money or power.

Success is waking up in the morning so excited about what you have to do.
You literally fly out the door.

It’s getting to work with people you love.

Success is connecting with the world and making people feel.

It’s finding a way to bind together people who have nothing in common but a dream.

It’s falling asleep at night knowing you did the best job you could.

Success is joy and freedom and friendship…and success is love.

If you haven’t watch the movie, WATCH IT!

The next time the musical is in town, I think I am going to catch. Even if I have to go alone (:
