Devotion 15/02/2015

I have been reading Our Daily Bread and using “The Holy Bible” application (highly recommended) to starts plans. I particularly like Rick Warren’s because they are not overly preachy and helps to relate to daily life.

ANYWAYS! Sometimes, I find meaning words/verses/phrases and I do a screenshot of them. But somehow, an idea struck me today and I thought, “Why not just do a weekly Sunday thing?” Just in case the phone dies and the screenshots disappeared *choy!*

It took me about 18 years or so before I learned how to pray. That praying is basically a conversation with God. It doesn’t have to be filled with fancy words ;p Just do it like how you will talk to a friend (:

Sometimes, we find it hard to express ourselves to God. Especially when we are praying for others. So…Hopefully this helps.

Pray that they will grow in love: “And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight.”

Pray that they will make wise choices: “..so that you may be discern what is best..”

Pray that they will live with integrity: “…and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ…”

Pray that they will become like Jesus: “…filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ – to the glory and praise of God.”

(Philippians 1:9-11 NIV)
