Because we all need a earworm to kickstart the week! Plus, Monday is the only day in the week that starts with M. I’ll try to post non-Kpop songs occasionally
I was still thinking about what to write for this week. Especially since I don’t feel like recommending another K-Pop song. Heh. Switched on Kiss92 (which I love but it’s not compatible with my work laptop :() and this song came up. Somehow, a few seconds before it came on, I knew it will come on. Do I make sense?
Anyways! Back during uni days, during my dark period (as I like to call it), before Kiss92 came on the scene…I like to listen to Class95 quite a bit while I work on projects late into the night. And this song kept playing and playing. I could sing parts of the song even before I realised what the lyrics were about. When I did find out the entire lyrics, I fell in love with it. I kept playing it over and over and over again on my iPod.
this is definitely a #oldiebutgoodie. the MV is very old school though.
I don’t understand if you really care,
I’m only hearing negative: no, no, no (bad)
You said that I was naive,
And I thought that I was strong.
I thought, “hey, I can leave, I can leave.”
Oh but now I know that I was wrong, ’cause I missed you.
This song describes my situation back then so aptly. Looking at the lyrics, I can’t help but feel a tad surreal. Dang. I was that stupid in the past.
Ahwell. happy monday, folks! (:
