Cant believe this song is from 3 years back!

But yes. It’s going to be stuck in my head for the next 8 weeks because…I am taking dance classes for it again! Yes, again! The last round (3 years back) I gave up after 2 lessons because my friend stopped going for classes and being young, I hated going for class alone.

So yes! Taking the class with Cyndy, my senior back in secondary school whom I havent seen in ages! Hopefully, I will learn the entire dance (: Well, I will. No intention of giving up. But yes. So many S-Line. My waist~ Haha!

ANYWAYS! One of my favorite songs from the girls (: The dance is awesome and the outfit ❤ Especially Yoona’s!

[Music Monday] Someone to watch over me by Asher Book

Over the weekend, Channel 5 showed one of my favorite movie, “Fame”. There’s so many good songs that I couldn’t decide which song to put here.

There’s the classic “Fame” song. Love the energy, love the beat, love the lyrics. Then there’s the graduation show, “Hold Your Dream” that holds much meaning(“…you’ll find strength when people bring you down..”). For the slow songs…”Try” by Asher Book. Awesome lyrics. “Out here on my own” is also awesome. It got me a little misty eye yesterday cos my life feels like it sometimes.

So eventually, I decided to introduce this other song by Asher Book. Coincidentally, this came up on my iPod touch early last week and I was playing it non-stop.

And I really like the monologue about success. I think I blogged about it sometime ago. But here it is again –

[Music Monday] Overdoes 중독 by EXO

For the past week, I have been trying and trying to find a song that will get me moving or at least perk me up. But nothing worked. All my usual songs didn’t work! I skip songs after songs after songs and when I thought it’s something that might work? Nope.

So when the EXO’s crisis (read about it here) broke, I started paying attention to their new song. Partly because they keep winning on music shows.

And it’s stuck. Over the weekend, it stuck in my head. Just now, while cleaning the room, I keep going, “Oh…she wants me. Oh…she got me.” and because I dont remember the rest of the lyrics, the phrase just keeps going over and over again.

Good job, EXO. Another earworm created.

When I first saw the MV, I thought the dance was too messy. But after watching their performance, have to say that it’s quite awesome. Though I still prefer Growl :p

Starting to like Baekhyun more than Kai *cough* He is so cheeky in interviews, totally different from on stage. But still! Kai is awesome on stage. The part where his eyes rolled back during the dance? Woah. Just woah.

So yes, that’s it from me! Going to listen to the song a few more times 😀

Sideline: I feel sorry for the fans cos of Kris’ lawsuits. Hopefully they will stay strong, like how ELFs did. Fighting!

I didnt like the song when I heard it on the radio many many times. But today, it started playing in my head for no reason. It’s now an earworm.

The lyrics are pretty simple. The song is quite short. But the MV is touching. Especially the part with the old lady and man 😦 I teared.

[Music Monday] Bubibu – A-Pink

This song holds a special place in my heart. Whenever it starts playing, the image of me studying  for my CFP Module 4 @ Starbucks right after leaving Maybank will pop up in my mind. That feeling back then. While it was sad to have to leave the Maybank family, but I was feeling immensely relieved because I no longer have to cry everyday due to being misunderstood or rather…just suffering from the brutality of politics. The relieve. The freedom.

Before that, I have never heard of A-Pink. Serious. Hahah! It was because seoul.fm kept playing their song during that period and I found myself bobbing my head to the tune then VIOLA. I realised the existent of A-Pink.

It’s a really cute song. Sometimes, I can’t help but do some super-duper act cute actions while listening to the song. Hehe.

First time seeing the dance. It’s so cute! Maybe I should sign up for the lessons if they pop up again. I think the dance is slightly better than “NoNoNo”. Eeeps! Dont kill me!

So yeah. That’s it this week.

I’m really dreading going back to work. But I will survive this. Amen!

If you have known me for a while, you know I don’t openly declare my faith/religion. But recently, I feel the need to post stuff that resonates with me. Sometimes, it’s more because it serves as a way to reassure myself, to comfort myself. Sometimes, I hope that the words that provided me so much comfort, will help others who are in the same situation. So, I hope I am not making anyone of you uncomfortable (:

If you are on my Facebook, you know how badly I was hit by a bout of negativity at work. To quote one of my favorite song, “I’m only hearing negative – no. no. no.”  I totally lost it. I retaliated with attitude. I almost lost my patience with my favorite tuition kid because of the negativity. I was so upset that when I went home, I almost curled up to cry. When my mum walked into the living room, she saw me munching on chocolate and she knew it was bad. Yes, the negativity was swallowing me.

Over the weekend, I was afraid. Afraid of Monday. Of having to face that negativity again. I still am. A little. But to encourage myself a little, I went to Youtube and googled for Christian songs’ for kids and I found a video with all of the songs I used to sing when I was in. Both in church and in kindergarten (:

It distracted me from my fear a little. So I thought I should share this with you as well –

With that said, please continue to pray for South Korea. I find myself tearing whenever I watch news report on them 😦
